Many, many moons ago...back in the early 1980's, when I started to sell Real Estate, one of the hot spots in East Hamilton for Condo living was 100 and 120 Quigley Road. Both complexes contained 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 baths and single car garages. Both complexes were an investors paradise and both complexes had numerous rental units. As the market started to climb in the mid 80's, the investors started to sell off their holdings, cashing in on their investments. The complex known as "Shamrock Gardens" or 100 Quigley Road, seemed to return to individual ownership much faster than 120 Quigley Road. As most properties which are privately owned and occupied, the complex flourished and became a real hot spot for first time buyers. It took 120 Quigley Road a little longer, but by the year 2000, the rental units in that complex were becoming fewer and fewer, and it's appearance started to take on a new glow.

Perhaps one can contribute the success of rebirth of 120 Quigley Road to it's fantastic Condominium Corporation under the guidance of it's President, John Betz. John happens to be a long time friend of mine...actually, his partner Brenda was my room mate almost 30 years ago! I know John well, and I'm not surprised to see how incredibly well managed this complex is. It's very easy for Condominium Corporations to simply make decisions and get them passed...when the majority of owners don't attend the meetings! This often leads to expenditures and improvements, passed on to all the owners by way of special assessments and increased condo fees...however, the condo fees at 120 Quigley Road are only $161.00 a month and that includes water!

The units reflect sound management and great ownership. Many owners have replaced their windows and doors and upgraded their interiors to the max!

From this sales persons perspective, 120 Quigley Road has come full circle. Beautiful units, boasting updates galore, offering great affordable family living in an incredibly convenient location!

I always tell my clients that a Condo is only as good as it's Corporation, and I think that Mr. Betz has done a great job directing this complex in it's winning direction! Kudo's to everyone at 120 Quigley Road!
