Regardless if we're just getting a break from Ma Natures Winter blanket, the act of the thermometer going into plus territory, always gives us Spring Fever! We venture out into the sunshine to uncover our sidewalks that have been heaped with icy deposits, shovel the piles of snow off of our decks, some may even start to survey their gardens! These first glimpses of spring are an excellent time of the year to analyze what needs to be done now....rather than later! Perhaps we've lost a few shingles over the winter, or maybe our eaves-troughs took a beating from the ice and snow, whatever it is, now is a good time to survey the wraths of winter. Its also a good time to stand in front of your house, with a very critical eye and ask yourself "If there is only one thing that I could do this year to improve the way my house looks....what would it be?" When you look at your house, in it's darkest hour, before all the snow melts, before the grass is vibrant green and the tulips are starting to add colour to the landscape, you see your home very clearly. Perhaps some shutters would add character, perhaps the caulking around the windows looks shabby, perhaps the front door could use a makeover.
